Test Passes 2016

Congratulations to Paige Mayow of Whitstable on passing her practical driving test on 13th October at the Canterbury driving test centre.

Paige is training to be a car mechanic at Canterbury College and already has her own car so will be straight out on the road.

Congratulations to David Stafford of Canterbury on passing his practical driving test on 11th October at the Canterbury driving test centre at the 1st attempt with only 3 driver faults.

David is a critical care nurse based at the Kent & Canterbury Hospital. Gaining his full licencse now means that he can travel to other hospitals in the area to where his expertise is needed the most.

He is also a massive football fan. During his lessons John & David had great conversations about the weeks footballing events. These will be missed by John!

Matthew is the first member of his family to learn to drive. He is now planning to buy a car and make use of his new driving licence.

Huge congratulations to Kelly Allan of Barham on passing her practical driving test on 6th October at the Canterbury driving test centre at the 1st attempt with only 1 driver fault.

Kelly is starting a new job next week so gaining her full driving licence was very important to her so she can now drive to and from work. She has a baby daughter who is only a few months old so getting out and about with her will now be so much easier.

Kelly becomes the 2nd person this week to pass her test with only one driver fault with JHDS. The examiner praised Kelly on her driving performance during the test.

Huge congratulations to Jemma Hitchcock of Herne Bay on passing her practical driving test on 3rd October at the Canterbury driving test centre at the 1st attempt with only 1 driver fault.

Jemma got some great feedback at the end of the test from her examiner with him saying what a comfortable and very progressive drive it was and thanking her for it. It would of been a clean sheet for Jemma if she had moved off in 1st gear and not 2nd!

Congratulations to Roxy Bratu of Chartham on passing her practical driving test on 29th September at the Canterbury driving test centre.

Roxy works at the ‘Local’ pub in Chartham and wanted to learn to drive so she didn’t have to keep asking for lifts or walk home after work in the dark. Great timing with winter on the way!

India, who is a manager at The Chocolate Cafe in Canterbury, is hoping she can get a car to make full use of her driving licence and drive to Wales in the next few months to visit her family.

Regan got some good feedback after his test, with the examiner commenting on how it was a good drive. Regan can now drive to college and not rely on the bus.

Congratulations to Megan King of Hythe on passing her practical driving test on 8th August at the Canterbury driving test centre with just 2 driver faults.

Megan, who is a trainee hairdresser, works in Canterbury so getting the bus to work is now a thing of the past. She already has her own car so will be driving to work from now on.

Megan was always entertaining during her driving lessons, always telling her instructor John about all her weekend antics!! Thanks for the bottle of Southern Comfort after you passed!

Congratulations to Anna Kwofie of Canterbury on passing her practical driving test on 5th July at the Canterbury driving test centre at the 1st attempt (with JHDS).

Anna has had a great couple of weeks. She just recieved the news that she got a 1st in her psychology degree, has got herself a job and has now passed her driving test! Great work!

Anna had failed her driving test before with another driving school and came to us for help after being recommended by her friend Jo Addison who passed a few months ago. Sometimes a change is good!

Tiffany, who is currently studying at Kent University and is part of the skiing team, shares a Ford KA with her twin brother. Now she has passed her test, she is hoping that her Dad will but her a car own car of her own big enough to get her ski’s on the roof.

Massive Congratulations toon passing her practical driving test on 9th June at the Canterbury driving test centre at the first attempt with zero driver faults.

A test with zero faults is very rare, around 1 in 10,000! What makes this zero test pass even more impressive is that Vicky had to take her test in a car that she had only driven for 20 minutes prior to the test as her instructors car broke down on the way to pick her up.

Our instructor Karol took Vicky to test as John was unable too. Thanks to Karol for helping out at very short notice.

Huge congratulations to Briony Ellis of Adisham on passing her practical driving test on 26th April at the Canterbury driving test centre at the 1st attempt with only 2 driver faults.

Briony will now find getting to work in Canterbury a lot easier now she has passed her driving test as the bus route is not great where she lives. In her spare time Briony volunteers for St John Ambulance, maybe one day we will see her driving an ambulance.

Sarah is currently a student at Canterbury Christ Church University and is studying Animal Science. When back at home she works on a farm so she is gaining hands on experience for her future career. Passing her test now means that she can drive more of the farm vehicles.

Craig has just started a new job at the Strode Park foundation in Herne, so passing his test was very good timing as he can now save up for a car and not have to hang around for two buses to get him to work.
