Megan came to John Harvey Driving School after failing her test back home over the summer. Now at Kent University, Megan wanted to pass her test before Christmas so she can use her own car when she went home for the holiday.

Betty (Rebecca) can now look to buy a car so she no longer has to walk to the nearest bus stop which must be nearly half a mile from her house!

Pablo Nadal Iglesias of Canterbury Passed 6th November 2015
Congratulations to Pablo Nadal Iglesias of Canterbury on passing his practical driving test on 6th November at the Canterbury driving test centre at the first attempt with only 2 driver faults.
Pablo moved to the UK at the end of 2014 and has been driving on his International driving licence since then. As he has now been in the UK for nearly one year he had to pass a UK driving test so he is able to continue driving here.
It was important for Pablo to gain his full UK licence as he is a Pediatrician working in the NHS and needs to be able to drive to get to different hospitals to carry out his clinics for his young patients.

Congratulations to Tilly Hart of Wingham on passing her practical driving test on 3rd November at the Canterbury driving test centre at the first attempt.
Tilly already has her own car so can now use her full driving licence to drive herself to work in Ashford and not have to get lifts all the time.
I would like to personally thank Tilly for taking part in the Big Learner Relay on Saturday 31 October for BBC Children In Need, i’m sure the drive to sittingbourne helped you to be ready for today! She only got us lost once aswell! Thank you for your donation aswell.

Congratulations to Aaron Langley of Sturry on passing his practical driving test on 29th October at the Canterbury driving test centre.
Aaron, who was recommended to John Harvey Driving school by his girlfriend Ellie who passed 2 months ago, came to the driving school after he felt that he was not making progress in his learning with a national driving school.
Aaron is training to be a brick layer so it was important for him to gain his full licence so he can get to work as he can be in different locations each week.

Ellie Ludford of Chartham Passed 24th August 2015
Congratulations to Ellie Ludford of Chartham on passing her practical driving test on 24th August at the Canterbury driving test centre at the first attempt.
Ellie couldn’t of had a worse day to take her test with torrential rain throughout the 40 minutes. Despite the weather, Ellie was able to put in a great drive to get the result that she wanted with a first time pass!
She can now start looking for her Fiat 500 in an ‘ice cream’ colour! She may need to learn her left and right before getting a sat nav though!

Congratulations to Kirsty Giles of Aylesham on passing her practical driving test on 3rd August at the Canterbury driving test centre with inly 3 driver faults.
Kirsty turned to John Harvey Driving School after she failed her test 3 times with another driving school. Kirsty was recommended to us by one of our recently passed pupils, Leia Bosson.
Gaining that all important full driving licence means Kirsty can now drive to work, do the school run without getting wet and take the kids out over the summer holidays.

Qasim held an International driving licence but needed to pass his test so he could have a valid UK driving licence. Qasim choose to use his own car for the test.
Gaining his full licence will make life easier for Qasim, his wife and his two young children as now they can get a car and “go to the seaside” as one of his kids said!

Massive Congratulations to Gavin Attwood of Canterbury on passing his practical driving test on 16th June at the Canterbury driving test centre at the 1st attempt with only 1 driver fault.
Gavin ,who works for BMW in Ashford, got great feedback from the examiner at the end of his test with the examiner saying “an excellent drive, that was one of the best drives I have ever had doing this job”.
Gavin has been told he will now get a BMW company car to use for his journey to work. Not a bad car for his first car!

Aaron was recommended to the school by his girlfriends sister who passed her test earlier this year.
Aaron, who works on the railways, needed his licence so he is able to drive the works vehicles and get his own car on the road.

Huge Congratulations to Laila Houghton of Kingston near Canterbury on passing her practical driving test on 29th May at the Canterbury driving test centre at the 1st attempt with only 2 driver faults.
Laila produced a great drive on her test and got her well deserved pass. I will miss our random conversations about what clouds will make nice photos and what type of chicken you will be having for dinner!!
Laila who already has her own car, a Peugeot 107, can now drive herself to the stables to ride her horse instead of getting the bus. Maybe a trailer test next Laila to transport the horse about!?

Huge Congratulations to Chris Link of Canterbury on passing his practical driving test on 7th May at the Canterbury driving test centre at the 1st attempt with only 1 driver fault.
Chris would have got that elusive clean sheet if he had put the car into 1st gear after stopping at a junction! However he got great feedback from the examiner.
Chris, who chose the driving school because he was recommended by his girlfriend Jess who passed 5 years ago, has just finished his degree at Canterbury Christchurch University. Gaining his full driving license will possibly make it easier to get a job as he can now travel by himself.
